    Overview

Session Leader: Michael Michie, CIO – TripleOKLaw LLP

Session Title: Malware – the Look, the Talk, and the Walk.

    Synopsis:

Malicious actors use malicious software to cause harm. Having an effective understanding of a piece of malware can have invaluable results in cybersecurity, from incident response to threat intelligence.

A simple interaction with an app or website can reveal just how serious data protection is taken and can tell a lot more about the internal workings of the organisation’s information security. Do not look like low hanging fruit. The game is to look the part, talk the part and walk the walk for a strong cybersecurity posture.

The session will highlight key aspects in malware analysis, data protection and privacy, as well as using UI as security tool.
